El cuadro principal y el basculante de aluminio inspirados en la CRF450R son ligeros y rígidos. The CRF450R-inspired aluminum main frame and swingarm are light and stiff. Also, for precise suspension reaction, the Showa 45mm inverted front fork is tuned for rebound and compression damping. The Showa rear shock is activated via the Pro-Link for compression and rebound damping, as well as spring adjustment via an adjuster on the shock body.

Control is what the Africa Twin gives you, and at its heart, a 6-axis Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) controls the bike under braking, cornering and acceleration.
